All works

The site in place, on the kind of desk where steel gets specified.
Loukos S.A. has supplied and processed steel and aluminium from its base in Thiva since 1980, serving builders, fabricators and architects across Greece. Four decades of trade had outgrown a website that could not hold the catalogue, so the brief was to build one that could: a deep, exact reference for every product and every process, from long steel to Alumil opening systems.
The design was a collaboration with Vassilis Bakas. Together we built the site around a dark, industrial system that lets the material lead: full bleed photography of the stock and the machinery, a restrained type scale, and generous space so a technical catalogue never feels heavy. Products are organised the way the yard is, by material and by section, so a visitor reaches a flat steel sheet or a rolling shutter in a click.
The processing floor gets equal weight. Laser cutting, plasma cutting, sheet bending, profile bending and perforation each get a clear page, backed by the specification a fabricator actually needs. The result reads as precisely as the company works, and scales as its catalogue and its machinery keep growing.

Every processing service gets its own page, from laser and plasma cutting to bending and perforation.

The aluminium side: system pages carrying the manufacturer’s own catalogues.
